Kancho Miwa also believes that if one can Improve on a Method or Technique in such a way that it actually Enhances and Betters the Performance and Execution of such a method or technique, then it should be adopted with an open mind, and that one must not be Blinded by Traditional Concepts to be the “ Alpha and Omega” of a Method or Technique. {Such a lesson can be learnt from the History of Japan when the leaders of Japan closed its doors to the Western world for 200 years, and as such could not match the Fighting power of the west with their “Gunpowder” (which they developed and discovered during Japans time of isolation )
Original Martial Arts as practiced by the Old Masters in Japan, Incorporated Techniques and Concepts from Karate, Aikido and Jui-Jitsu. To make Tenshinkan a Well Rounded form of Self-Defence , Kancho Miwa developed a Sytem known as GOSHIN JITSU which Incorporate Aikido and JuiJitsuTechniques and Methods into the Tenshinkan System..
